This is a bulletin board that I designed for a 6th grade math unit. The students were required to make three acute, obtuse and right triangles. As part of the assignment, it was required that the students labeled their triangles and angles appropriately.
This bulletin board I created for a unit on comparisons. The students were able to choose two photos out of the designated folder (attached to the bottom of the bulletin board). Then, on dry erase sentence strips, they were asked to compare the two pictures. In addition, they were required to choose a transition words from a different folder. Finally, they were asked to place the comma in the appropriate place.
This bulletin board I created for an extended learning opportunity program over the summer. Pictures were taken of each student and the students were each given a particular color marker. The students were then asked to use sentence strips to write down questions or something interesting that they had learned at the end of each day.
The unit of study pertaining to this bulletin board was urban and suburban communities. The students were asked to draw an urban community and then write a sentence describing their picture. On the picture of the city, the first grade students were asked to create an adjective that describes a city and write it on a post-it note.
